How to Effectively Target Your Midlife Midsection!

Today we are going to talk about How to effectively target your midlife midsection!

The first thing you need to know is that your body is super cool.

It likes to burn body fat in a very specific order.

First, it will burn any fat stored inside your organs, specifically your pancreas and your liver.  This is very, very dangerous fat, and we never want fatty deposits in our organs. You can’t see or feel with your hands this type of fat.

Second, your body will burn the fat around your organs.  This is called visceral fat.  This fat wraps around our organs.  You can’t really see it all the time and you can actually have a lot of visceral fat and have a flat tummy.  But most of us with belly fat to lose have quite a bit of visceral fat wrapping around our organs.

Third, after the fat in our organs is cleared out.  Then the fat around our organs is reduced, then it will start really chipping away at the fat we see under our skin.  That fat is called subcutaneous.  Because it’s just under your skin.

This is what you see in the mirror. This is what we call our muffin top.

This is what we really, really, really, really want to get rid of. This is the belly fat most of us are talking about.

But one thing you may not know is that belly fat has fat underneath it. Our waist circumference isn’t just subcutaneous fat.  It's our visceral fat too.

That visceral fat takes up space and adds to the thick feeling we have around our middles.

The secret to getting rid of belly fat specifically is to have a healthy metabolism that burns through your fat deposits in your organs, then your visceral fat, and then starts going after that subcutaneous fat.

Exercise doesn’t do this very efficiently.

Especially if you are doing abdominal strengthening exercises, that actually builds the muscle under and above the fat layers so you have an even thicker midsection.

Sit-ups and pilates won’t burn belly fat, especially with a damaged metabolism. They will burn sugar and build muscle behind it.  Belly fat is burned through our eating, not through exercise.

One more time because it’s super important.  Belly fat is burned with healthy metabolisms we promote by our eating habits, not with exercise, not with supplements, not with apple cider vinegar.

Belly fat after menopause is extra tough because your hormone changes are like air traffic control cops telling your body to store any and all fat right in your tummy area!

When we had more estrogen to testosterone as a ratio, we would preferentially put that fat in our hips and thighs.  But once we lose that protective estrogen, the testosterone takes over and we start to store fat more like men, right in our midsection.

So to really get rid of belly fat specifically, you need to have a metabolism that can burn fat efficiently and consistently enough to chew through your intra-organ fat and then through your visceral fat and then it will go to town on your subcutaneous fat.

In the Freese Method, we drop inches from our waist like it’s no big deal.  Because the Freese Method puts together the right steps in the right order to repair your body and turn up the fat burn and let it burn the fat it most wants to burn, mostly while you’re sleeping.

It sets up a strategic and efficient system for burning fat. And it targets belly fat because it targets the hormone that puts it there.

The secret to burning belly fat is to control your fat-burning and fat-accumulation hormones with how and when you eat and focus on burning those deep layers first.  And that’s exactly what I teach in the Freese Method.

On average we burn through 3-4 inches of belly fat in just 12 weeks with the ability to burn it all off over time. If that’s something you want, let’s get to it!

Remember you can lose weight, achieve glowing health, and never stress about your weight again, we just need to repair your metabolism first with the Freese Method!
